- 7th ICON-LA Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia (5 - 7 June 2013) with the general theme "Water landscapes and urbanization: design, ecology and management" - abstracts for presentations and posters can be handed in until 1 March 2013
- SURE Conference in Berlin, Germany (25. - 27. July 2013) - the working paper is already out! Proposals for Organized Symposia and Workshops can be submitted until 31 December 2012, abstracts until 31 January, 2013. Springer and the Journal Urban Ecosystems will support the conference with an award for the best student presentation(s).
- SURE Summer School 2013 in Shanghai, China (27th October - 2nd November 2013) - call for applications for tutors and students has started and ends on 31 May 2013
